1. Introduction

You know that in today's digital time of 2025, everything has become online and it is happening, many people develop website for their business etc. so that their platform increases but you are very much confused in it that what is the meaning of website, so iska matlab hai aap apne portfolio, business website or ecommerce website kuch bhi sakati hai lekin aap ko sahi se itko live nahi aata bahut problem ka saamna hai, so in this blog I have covered almost all the detail so that you can make your website live comfortably.

2. Step 1: Choose a Domain & Hosting

See, it is very important to choose the right hosting and domain for the website. If you buy the hosting of any company without knowing, then you can face problems, and that can be of some kind, like the most important thing is speed than security, SSL etc. You should know about all these. There are also companies whose data gets leaked due to which a lot of problems arise, so you have to take care of all these things first because you are getting good service in less money, then why are you getting it? Know if the company is right, buy from them, after that choose the right domain, which is giving right speed and the domain name should be like this Keep it unique, you can buy the hosting from Hostinger, you will get the domain for free there.

3. Step 2: Set Up SSL & HTTPS

You might not know that there are many companies who provide hosting domain but do not provide SSL, but this is very important for your website, without this no one trusts your website and even Google does not boot your website, so you have to keep in mind whether SSL is there in the hosting or not, if you add SSL, then your website will open with “https://” due to which your website will become a true site, people will trust it and Google will also rank your website on Google, which is a good point, so you must have SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) I want to apply it.

Step 3: Install a CMS or Framework

First of all know that it is CMS (Content management system) through which you can manage the content of the website, if you do not know coding, you can still use wordpress for this but for this you will have to take hosting because it is paid but nowadays there is a lot of demand for it, in this you will have to take hosting, then you have to setup wordpress which is a very easy process, after this you have to setup theme, in this you get free readymade theme which is very good and responsive, you just have to install it, then as soon as you make the theme live, your website goes live, then you I have to update the detail, in this you can do anything with blog product, i.e. you can even create an ecommerce site, you just have to do drag and drop, you don't need to write any code, your work will be done by drag and drop, if you don't know WordPress and want to learn for free then you can watch my youtube video from the link given below.

5. Step 4: Create Essential Pages

Don't get tensed after seeing its title, its simple meaning is that you will have to create basic website pages like home, about, contact and privacy page etc. All these are very important for a website. There are others too which need to be added to your website only then our website can build trust and look genuine. Keep in mind that creating these pages does not mean adding anything. It is important to add the correct details and the correct design, otherwise your website will not look good. Even if you make a good website tomorrow, but all of it doesn't work properly. You can use Google Gems but keep in mind that you need to know basic coding. It is important to have knowledge.

  • Home Page: The home page is the first impression of your website, so you need to design it well.
  • About Page: From the about you must have come to know who is the admin about you and your website, what will be shared on the website.
  • Contact Page: Email, name, message and phone will appear on this page
  • Privacy Policy & Terms: If you want to monetize the website then you can add it, adding it is a good point.

6. Step 5: Add Analytics & SEO Tools

Well, I have told a bit about it in another blog, but its direct meaning is to check the website so that there are no bugs, the speed is correct, etc. You can use Google's lighthouse for this. Also, if you use Hostiger's hosting, you get a free tool there. And if you want to check the traffic of the website, you can use Google's analytics, which shows you live data. And if we talk about SEO, then it means search engine optimization. From this, you must have come to know that optimizing the website means you can use meta tags related to your website and you can also use keywords etc. which help in SEO. hey add sitemap that is a good option.

7. Step 6: Optimize Speed & Performance

I have kept this point separate because it is important, it affects your website a lot, like if the speed of the website is not right then it needs to be corrected, for which you have to correct the images, code script, if images are being used in your website then you should use webp format and if there is any wrong script in the file then remove it, this keeps the website loaded more, if you are using wordpress then you have to use lightweight theme.

8. Step 7: Test Responsiveness & Browser Compatibility

Many people forget to make their website responsive, due to which when a user opens the website on mobile or tablet, it does not open properly and does not look good, which creates a bad impression, hence it is very important for you to make your website responsive which can run on every device and browser, if you do not do this then it is a simple thing that your website will never be able to grow and people will not use your website.

9. Conclusion

Managing and hosting a website is quite a tough job but if you follow all the steps mentioned by me correctly then you can easily create a website. Even if you don't know coding you can still make your website and host it using any free hosting like GitHub, Vercel but the thing to be kept in mind is that if it is a serious website then you should take paid hosting in which many things should be taken care of. Keep the SEO correct so that the website gets ranked in Google. Just follow these steps correctly then your website will be live in front of you.
